Talcott Olive Oil is a small production, Tuscan-style oil blend that has an aroma of freshly mowed grass, green almond, and fruitiness, balanced with a robust flavor of fresh artichoke, black pepper, and green tea. Due to the subtle nature and rich flavors of this oil, we recommend using it to enhance and dress salads, meat, and poultry dishes.
Talcott Carneros Estate is situated on two rolling hills that overlook the San Francisco Bay. It was Napa county's first large olive grove in the Carneros region. The three thousand trees planted on the property are organically farmed and include only the richest Tuscan varietals: Frantoio, Leccino, Coratina Taggiasca, Moraiolo, Casaliva, and Pendolino.
With just the right amount of cool breezes, Napa Valley sunshine, California rain, and passion, Talcott Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been recognized as one of the finest olive oils available, earning a Gold Medal at the prestigious California Olive Oil Council tasting, a Gold Medal at the 2008 International Restaurant Show, and a Blue Ribbon at the Napa County Fair!
