2017 Martin Ray Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain
This Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon received a 95 point rating from James Suckling and we think it’s not enough. It starts off with fresh crushed berries and a touch of nutty chocolate. The palate is pure, clean, and full of ruby fruit. Its density and structure of acidity and tannins aren’t overpowering, but flow perfectly into the next sip.
In 2003, Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery made its home in the Russian River Valley, on the edge of Green Valley at one of the oldest continually working wineries in California. Today, proprietor and owner Courtney Benham and his winemaking team devote themselves to the ideology of making “wines of place”. From Napa hillside vineyards to Santa Cruz mountain vineyards, they will relentlessly tell the story of each exceptional appellation and vineyard.
